Shef was a toddler when she fell in love with dance after watching too many Bollywood movies. Her mom—also her biggest fan—noticed and signed Shef up for classes, and from there, she explored everything from tap and jazz to Bollywood, hip-hop, and traditional Indian dance. In college, She joined a friend for her first bellydance class, and it was love at first shimmy! Now, she’s thrilled to take the stage doing what she loves. Offstage, she is usually snuggling her Shih-Poo named Snowy, doing needlework with a comfort show on, or escaping to the shores of Lake Superior for some peace and quiet.
